Octocrylene

Ocriline (INCI: Ocriline) is a soluble organic UV-B filter. It absorbs about 280 to 320 nm of UV-B radiation.

Oclirine is an organic substance with the chemical formula C24H27NO2, an oil-soluble UV absorber, and is insoluble in water. Properties that contribute to the dissolution of other oil-soluble solids. It has the advantages of high absorption rate, non-toxic, non-teratogenic effect, good stability to light and heat, it can absorb UV-B and a small amount of UV-A, and use high SPF sunscreen products with other UV-B absorbers. It is a Class I sunscreen approved by the United States FDA and has a high use rate in the United States and Europe. The maximum concentration of Ocriline is 10%.
